Government Engineering college Kishanganj is working under Department of Science & Technology and Affiliated to Bihar Engineering University, Patna (BEUP). It has been established by the government of binar under “Saat Nischaya Scheme” with the motive of facilitating the contribution of youth towards economic and social betterment through development of higher education and strengthening the supply side of skilled workers in the State. Institute campus located in Mahesh Bathna (Kishanganj) on the bank of river Mahananda.
The Institute offers B. Tech in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Each course has an intake capacity of 60 students approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
